10 Shocking (But Believable) Theories About Star Wars 7

9. Leia Is A Jedi

Carrie Fisher sort of got given a raw deal with the Original Trilogy. Mostly she serves as a damsel in distress €“ even when she proves herself incredibly adept with a blaster, with military planning, and with leading a rebellion of small furry creatures on Endor, but the end of Return Of The Jedi she's just Han Solo's love interest again. Vader suggests that she had as much capacity for the Force as her brother €“ why not give her a chance? Of course, in the Star Wars alternate universe comic Infinites she gets converted to the Dark Side by her nefarious father, but she's also totally awesome when she's in full control of her Force powers. In the Star Wars 7 it's suggested that's she finally found the time to investigated said powers, and it's worked out pretty well for her. Where does that leave the Rebellion? Well, when the Original Trilogy finished, they were sitting rather pretty. After stabilising the universe she deserved a bit of a break, and so Leia Organa decides to go off on a spiritual quest. And learns how to use a lightsaber. Now that'd be worth seeing.
