10 Terrible Movies With Overlooked Positives

9. It Killed Carrot Top's Movie Career - Chairman of the Board

Carrot TopWhy It Sucked: A woefully unfunny star vehicle for comedian Carrot Top, in which he plays a surfer who ends up running a multi-billion dollar company. The movie cost a whopping $10 million and barely made 1% of that back in cinemas. The Overlooked Positive: In an amusing reversal of Matthew McConaughey's career revival, Chairman of the Board was the much-needed death knell for Carrot Top's movie star career, nipping it in the bud before it even really got started. Studio executives have sworn him off ever since, realising that a) people don't really like him all that much and b) more importantly, he's box office poison. He hasn't had a significant role in a major movie ever since (and thank God).
