10 Terrible Scenes That Ruined Highly Anticipated Movies

9. Peter Parker's Dancing - Spider-Man 3

Spider-Man 3 Sam Raimi's book-ending Spider-Man installment had its share of scripting issues, though this is the scene that surely ruined it above all others. The Spider-Man movies are inherent goofy, but this scene took the film to realms of cheesy awfulness I hadn't previously thought imaginable. Peter Parker, now under the influence of the symbiote, has a new-founded, misplaced sense of confidence, causing him to strut and dance around the street, while the various women he's checking out simply laugh hysterically at his ineptitude. With all the grace of a drunken uncle at a wedding reception, he seems to be the only guy who isn't in on the joke. While the film does draw attention to how awful it is, self-awareness can only carry you so far, and this scene was massively cringe-inducing whether Raimi knew it or not. Just utterly, utterly needless in an already overly busy film. Check out the video below:
