7. Star Tours The Adventure Continues
Before you say it, no, this ride does not make the list just because it's Star Wars. The original Star Tours, now only available to ride in Disneyland Paris, while being fun (and Star Wars) only offered the basic flight simulator experience. If you went to Disney in Florida the front of the attraction met you with a large model of an Imperial AT-AT walker. The interior was equally cool and exciting, but the ride itself, meh. However, Star Tours: The Adventure Continues is an entirely different story. For one thing simulator technology has leaped forward so much it makes the first ride look like a big TV screen that tilts. Then there is the design. Instead of the usual drab, one time experience of simulators, the new Star Tours is interactive. The Empire is looking for a Rebel spy that might just be an audience member. The story is composed of three unique patterns that are chosen at random by the computer during the ride so you could take the ride and see something different fifty-two times.
