10 Things Every Harry Potter Fan Wishes Were In The Movies

9. Luna's Painting

Okay, this one really doesn't have much of a plot influence, but it is seriously one of the most heartwarming moments in the entire series.

In Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, during the trio's trip to see Xenophilius Lovegood, Harry makes his way into Luna's bedroom. When he gets there, he sees a painting on her ceiling of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny, and Neville with the word "friends" repeated in the form of a golden chain.

For the outcast, oddball that Luna is, she values nothing more than her friends, who sometimes don't value her enough. In this moment, Harry is described as feeling a great rush of affection for Luna, as does every single person that read this.

Also, it's not completely pointless to the story, as this is the point where Harry realizes that her room has been unoccupied for a while, meaning Xenophilius has been lying to them about Luna being home, and something is wrong at the Lovegood house.
