10 Things That Would Make You Excited For DC’s Cinematic Universe

Why aren't we more excited for DC's shared universe?

DC€™s Cinematic Universe was launched with Man Of Steel, and unlike Marvel€™s ever expanding MCU the level of excitement seems pretty low. Man Of Steel received a lukewarm reception at best, and the controversial casting of Jesse Eisenberg and Ben Affleck haven€™t helped to hype audiences up at all. However, DC fans should not despair - much like the symbol on Superman€™s chest, there is hope for this new Cinematic Universe. DC is late on the game, but that doesn€™t necessarily mean that their films will be of poor quality. They have the benefit of having seen Marvel€™s recipe, and they can look at how to improve upon this tried and tested method. Still, excitement is low. DC released their slate of upcoming movies, and in response Marvel quickly unveiled Phase Three - Marvel certainly are receiving a lot more attention online because we have an idea of where the story is going and who is involved. The fact that DC have only just announced their films means we don€™t have any idea of what direction the story will be going in, making speculating about the DC universe extremely difficult. DC are keeping pretty secretive about their latest project, but there are many strong reasons for why we should be excited.
