10 Things You Need To Know About Mad Max: Fury Road

10. The Cars Were Built Years In Advance

Photos of some of the cars from Fury Road began popping up online several years ago, and the cars themselves have been around for even longer. That's what happens when production is repeatedly delayed. Besides the good old V8 Interceptor, a number of cars were specifically constructed for the film, including a large tanker, something best described as a porcupine on wheels, and another car that looks like it's a cartoon bomb that somehow drives. In short, all of these look very cool, and very original. Then there's the "speaker-mobile" (pictured). While there's no indication of how it fits into the plot of the movie, behind the scenes photos show it to be overloaded with speakers, bullhorns, and similar audio equipment.
