10 Things You Didn't Know About Amanda Seyfried

4. She Suffers From Terrible Stage Fright

It doesn't make a whole lot of sense that somebody whose job requires them to act in front of large crews of dozens (and sometimes hundreds) of people can suffer from terrible stage fright, but in the case of Amanda Seyfried it's entirely true: the actress has admitted to OCD and anxiety attacks - the latter of which has prevented her from performing live on numerous occasions. In her own words, Seyfried describes how it affects her ability to perform in front of a live audience:
"I always wanted to be up there. I wanted to do something else last year that ended up not happening. It was one of those things I kept putting off because I was scared sh**less."
Now, though, Seyfried has revealed that she's a lot more prepared and feels ready to tread the boards after a long ol' period of worrying whether or not she'd ever be able to do it. Brilliantly, she'll appear this year in Neil LaBute's off-Broadway production of "The Way We Get By." Talk about getting over your fears!
