10 Things You Didn't Know About Amanda Seyfried

3. She Has A Tattoo Of The Word "Minge" On Her Foot

Uh, this might be one of the oddest pieces of trivia you'll read all week, but it's entirely true. For anybody who doesn't know, "minge" is an English slang word for "vagina," and for some reason the actress Amanda Seyfried has it tattooed on her left foot, because that's normal? Why, you're wondering? Why on Earth does the star of Mamma Mia and Les Miserables have such a vulgar word permanently inscribed onto her skin? Well, it's Colin Firth's fault, apparently. Seriously: the English actor best known for roles in films such as Bridget Jones' Diary and The King's Speech also happens to be responsible for the smut written on Seyfried's foot. The pair worked together on Mamma Mia, of course, and she tells it as such:
"Colin Firth used to say that word on set and Rachel (McDowell) had to explain to me what it meant. So it's on my foot. It's to make me laugh, and every time I look at it I do. I've never really been a fan of tattoos but I wanted to see what it felt like. I have a dirty sense of humour. I can be blunt and vulgar."
You don't say, Amanda? You can't make this stuff up.
