10 Things You Need To Know About Mission: Impossible 5

9. It's Getting An IMAX Run

Only a certain number of films each year get a chance to be shown on the extra large IMAX screens (something which usually gives them a bit of a boost at the box office too), and like Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol before it, Mission: Impossible 5 has been confirmed for an IMAX run. "IMAX is so important in giving the audience the best experience of the film we have made," Tom Cruise promised when the news was announced last week. Unfortunately, the press release also mentioned that the film will be digitally remastered into the IMAX format, so it doesn't appear as if any of Mission: Impossible 5's scenes have been shot with IMAX cameras. Mission: Impossible €“ Ghost Protocol director Brad Bird insisted on the use of those, and they ultimately made a huge difference to a lot of that movie's key action sequences. Chances are it won't be worth paying to see this one in IMAX!
