10 Times Robin Williams Made Us Cry With Laughter

One of the greatest actor/comedians that ever lived.

When we learned this morning of the tragic suicide of Robin Williams, the world became a much darker place. It was obviously well known that the iconic actor and comedian was battling with depression, and many people are aptly quoting Rorschach from Watchmen: Man goes to doctor. Says he's depressed. Says life is harsh and cruel. Says he feels all alone in a threatening world. Doctor says, "Treatment is simple. The great clown Pagliacci is in town tonight. Go see him. That should pick you up." Man bursts into tears. Says, "But doctor... I am Pagliacci." While his tragic death is causing tears of sorrow, Williams' life will be remembered for the times he caused tears of laughter. He had the wonderful ability to delight adults and children both with the energetic enthusiasm that he threw into every role. However, some of his most memorable roles were the ones where he could make us happy and sad all in the same moment. This list will look back at ten of the brightest and funniest moments in his career, when he firmly made his mark in history as one of the greatest actors and comedians who ever lived.

10. "Yeeee Hah!"- Patch Adams

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byPJ22JDFjI Patch Adams is a bittersweet film, but even more so now that two of its actors (Williams and Philip Seymour Hoffman) are no longer with us. In this scene, Patch's attempt to raise a smile from a young girl in the children's ward escalates into messy hilarity.
