10 Totally Insane Foreign Movie Posters You Won't Believe Exist

2. Big Trouble In Little China (Poland)

Polish Poster

I actually really like this poster, but that's only because I've seen Big Trouble In Little China and know what it's referring to. If you haven't seen the movie, I don't know what the hell you're supposed to make of this. To be fair, even the reference I think it's trying to make - the hand is supposed to be that of the movie's bad guy, David Lo Pan, who has captured the girl, hence why she's on his, uh, hand (?) - is vague. And by vague, I mean "totally incomprehensible." Still, there are loads of things you could've done when drawing up a poster for the John Carpenter classic, given the crazy nature of the movie, and yet this is what the artists went with. Just... a spooky hand. A few brush strokes and a well-placed font. Not nearly enough Kurt Russell for my liking.
