We have a game we play at my office that pretty much goes like this... guess which movie this song is from? Albeit a simple game, it is ever entertaining as the list is absolutely endless. Of course you have the obvious theme songs that are linked to movies like Time Of My Life from Dirty Dancing or My Heart Will Go On from Titanic (sob) which are great tracks, but what about the songs that are featured in movies that aren't as obvious? They can be lying and lurking in the very deepest part of your brain until you hear it and BOOM a scene from a movie enters your head. Songs that are not necessarily written especially for that movie but feature are usually not as easily remembered, but once triggered it will take you straight back to the very moment in that particular film. I have devised a list of ten songs that will always remind me of a certain movie. As I said the list is endless, with blindingly obvious theme songs and so many that are not so obvious. 10. Eye Of The Tiger - Survivor, Rocky III
The introduction to this song alone takes your mind straight to the movie with Mr Sly Stallone playing Rocky Balboa, the fierce and victorious boxer. With this song acting as the theme song especially written for the movie, it is used in both the opening and final sequences. The song's lyrics and striking staccato moments in the music signify the mental process and physical actions of a fight. Eye Of The Tiger is mostly associated with training and this song can get any individual motivated for just about anything.
