9. Good Luck Chuck
What is there to say? Everything that's wrong with this one is clear as day; there is absolutely no way that Dane Cook and Jessica Alba were in the same room for this shoot. Now, while some might say perhaps scheduling conflicts meant that publicists couldn't get the two of them together for a shoot and so they had to resort to a cut and paste job, we like to think it's because, frankly, who would want a scantily-clad Dane Cook draping themselves over them first thing in the morning? There's really nothing here that convinces us or even entices us about the film; Cook is looking at Alba's face from a peculiar perspective, but at least he's looking at her! Alba is staring off into the distance, as though Cook's character clubbed her unconscious, or perhaps she's just smoked a joint. It doesn't exactly make their chemistry clear if Alba is starring into the ceiling as though thinking about someone else; how about giving the film the vaguest sense of romance and passion? But no.
