Daniel Bruhl As if Captain America: Civil War wasn't looking awesome and action-packed enough, Marvel Studios have announced that "Rush" and "Inglourious Basterds" actor Daniel Brühl has been cast as a villain in the movie, with Marvel president Kevin Feige saying €œWith Daniel's ability to deliver intense, nuanced performances, we knew we had found yet another great actor to share the screen with some of our biggest heroes.€ The specifics of the role are currently unknown, but what is know is it is that of a villain, with rumours circulating that he will be playing a secondary or minor villain in Civil War (with Crossbones as the main one) and will go on to be a more important villain in the Doctor Strange movie. How concrete that theory ends up being remains to be seen, but it's intriguing regardless. The movie will depict a conflict between the titular Captain America (Steve Rogers) and his fellow Avenger Iron Man (Tony Stark), as the pair come to blows over whether or not superheroes should be required to register as such. This is likely to be as a result of the events in Age of Ultron, with Tony Stark feeling guilty for creating the robotic villain and opting to ensure superhuman activity becomes more controlled, by making people sign up to an official list, and Captain America opposing the idea, being all about freedom and what-not. Stark was, therefore, believed to be the movie's only antagonist but with Brühl now on board it would seem he's not alone.
