10 Ways To Save The Paranormal Activity Franchise

The Paranormal Activity franchise is one of the most unexpected successes in the history of cinema, going from an initial $15,000 low budget horror to making almost $800 million as of the release of the most recent film, The Marked Ones. It is a juggernaut that started out on a wave of critical and audience acclaim, though over the years and the sequels both of these have waned considerably, even if the spin-off released last week did re-invigorate interest somewhat. We know that a fully fledged fifth film in the series is due for release this October, and as usual, plot details remain pretty scarce, but it's clear that with the generally declining stature of the series in terms of critics and box office receipts, something has to change. There are a number of ways to fix the series, and here I am going to tell you exactly what they are. As usual, sound off in the comments with your own suggestions!
