10 Worst Movies Ever Released In January

9. Taken 3

Why It’s Bad: The Taken franchise jumped the shark (or nuked the fridge) with its second installment, where Liam Neeson seemed to be warming up for his hilarious cameo in Ted 2. There was no call for another one, and this sequel gets off to a bad start by killing off the least shrill and annoying character in the series.

Also, bear in mind that Bryan Mills is not exactly one of modern cinema’s finest characters. He’s basically a big screen version of Jack Bauer, and just like Kiefer Sutherland’s character he has a murky back ground, a shrill and annoying daughter named Kim and an ex-wife who ends up dead because of his chosen profession.

What The Critics Said: “It’s difficult to know what subtitle to give this – Taken 3: Not Again or Taken 3: Seriously? or Taken 3: This Is Getting A Bit Much Frankly.” (The Guardian)
