10 Worst Movies Of 2013 (So Far)

9. 21 & Over

21 & Over The Hangover scribes Jon Lucas and Scott Moore try to milk some of their goodwill from that project in their next one, which is essentially the same premise recycled to suit a trio of 21-year-old young men who end up on an alcohol-fuelled night of debauchery. Though inherently lazy, there was plenty of potential for this to be a riotously funny time, yet the thin script insists too much on outrageous, vile gags, and the sweetly crude banter from The Hangover is nowhere to be seen; Miles Teller's character is an especially mean-spirited sort who we are then asked to root for in the latter moments of the picture. The tone is all over the place, and though it serves up the occasional chuckle, this is on the whole a missed opportunity and one that only the most boozed-up youngsters are likely to allow a passing grade.
