10 X-Men Characters That Deserve Their Own Movie

10. Fantomex

fantomex Created by the great Grant Morrison, Fantomex first appeared in the panels of New X-Men, and he is undoubtedly the epitome of cool. He is a mutant that oozes charisma, and his costume is awesome to boot. Of course, being a typical Grant Morrison creation, he sports some of the wildest mutations in the X-Men comics. Fantomex has the innate ability to produce realistic illusions, but his best feature is his extraordinary, external nervous system that masquerades as a flying saucer. Of course, he€™s also gifted with three different brains, meaning that he can even survive the gravest of head wounds. Fantomex is a superb marksman and conveniently enough, he possesses all the quality traits of most mutants; enhanced strength, agility and dexterity. He also goes by the name Jean-Philippe, and upon his brazen introduction to the X-Men, he labels himself as the most notorious criminal in Europe. Chased down for his thievery, Fantomex takes residence in Paris with his beloved mother, and countless stolen artefacts. It was an explosive debut and since then, he has received some superb character development, especially in Rick Remender€™s Uncanny X-Force series. It goes without saying, but Fantomex is one of the most interesting additions to the Marvel universe as of late, and that is thanks to his awesome characterisation. A film focusing on his life as a mastermind thief could go down tremendously well, and it could even include one of his main love interests, Psylocke. He is a favourite amongst quite a few fans, which is pretty self-explanatory really, as he€™s an effortlessly cool mutant with a unique set of powers. Look out for Marvel€™s miniseries, Fantomex MAX later this year, which could hopefully spur on a collection of new fans, and the possibility of at least a major on-screen presence.
