Since the Body-Swapping trope is often referred to as the Freaky Friday trope, it wouldn't be right not to include this one. What may come as a surprise is that the 2003 film starring Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis was in fact Disney’s 3rd and arguably most successful attempt at adapting the 1972 novel of the same name.
It’s a timeless story of a mother and daughter switching bodies and thus having to assume the other’s responsibilities for the day, giving them both an eye-opening sense of perspective on each other's lives.
It’s also a cautionary tale about giving credit cards to teenagers as evidenced by the fast-motion Jamie Lee Curtis shopping/makeover scene.
