Every single aspect of the trilogy was innovative, memorable and leagues ahead of other work in the genre. But that doesn't mean that they weren't dumb. For all the genius of Nolan, the strength of the cast and the brilliance associated with each entry in the trilogy, the films are pretty flawed in places and there are some pretty big plot-holes left behind, most of which stem from a character making a REALLY idiotic decision. In a lot of ways, this makes them more far more interesting (especially so in the case of Rises, in fact) and has allowed for interesting debates and discussion to arise. In other ways, the errors prove jarring and distracting. Are there any that we've missed? Let us know in the comments below.
