11 Memorable Dying Words In Movies You'll Never Forget

Clever Girl Taking a dirt nap; kicking the bucket; pushing up daisies: we're all familiar with characters in movies shuffling off this mortal coil - sometimes they make us laugh, sometimes they make us cry, but they should always be affecting. Apart from n action movies, in which sometimes literally hundreds of people are shot, stabbed, or karate-chopped ferociously until they meet their makers, with very little thought into them as people or the effects of their deaths. But what about more intelligent deaths? When the characters we've come to love and cherish go, but with their final gasp of air say something profound or moving or absurd? This list is dedicated to the memory of those fictional people, so grab your Kleenex boxes and get ready to cry like a little baby as we look at the best things uttered by characters right before they buy the farm.

11. "Look at me, Damien! It's all for you." - The Omen

Omen Narrowly beating out Hellraiser's "Jesus wept" for the horror pick of the list is young Damien's first nanny. It's Damien's birthday, and his affluent and powerful parents are throwing a party for him. Because he's the spawn of Satan, a rottweiler strolls up to the party with eyes so black they could bend light. Somehow, the dog casts a spell on Damien's nanny, who ties a noose around her neck, shouts, and jumps off the roof, crashing through the window and ruining the party. A similar reaction to the audiences who saw The Omen re-make. Probably.
