12 Most Fearsome Giants In Cinema

12. Bombaata, Conan the Destroyer (1984)

All-star basketballer and legendary sex Olympian Wilt Chamberlain made a brief foray into acting to play this elite bodyguard and disciple of Dagoth. At 7'1", Bombaata dwarfed the barbarian known as Conan, who was no small man himself. Initially, Bombaata posed as an ally of Conan, but only until such a time as he could attempt to smite the barbarian with a clumsy mace stroke. When his treachery was finally revealed, Bombaata engaged his target in single combat. The big man's favored method of attack was swinging a club like it was one of those noise making tubes from Wham-O, which proved shockingly ineffective in practice. In the end, Bombaata was killed by his own dagger. It looked like Conan did him in with a single letter-opener jab to the lumbar region, but Wilt isn't exactly an ideal measuring stick; for all we know, it was a huge Paul Hogan croc stabber, and his 5' tall torso was causing some wonky forced perspective.
