12 Movies Worth Watching Over & Over Again

11. Robin Hood: Men In Tights

You may think you've seen all the Robin Hood movies you need to see, but that is not true unless you've watched this one a couple dozen times. Cary Elwes, back in his heyday, was a comedian and a charmer - the combination needed to play Robin Hood in a wonderfully put together Mel Brooks film. For this list, I'm sure I could have gone with Spaceballs or The Producers, but for me the whole Robin Hood story just puts this one on top. And with Richard Lewis, Dave Chappelle and Patrick Stewart also showing up, the film is something of a comic gem. The jabs at the original story (even the smaller nods like the name of the town being Rottingham) are what make this one great. It's a fun Robin Hood! The drama is light and the shenanigans entertaining, leaving audiences with a refreshing new version of a story we all know. My personal favorite moment? The musical number. I don't want to give anything away, but it's pretty fantastic and the song will be stuck in your head for the rest of the day... which will help make sure you watch the movie again soon!
