This December is serving up the (apparently) final entry in an epic, decade-long franchise, a massively-hyped drama from an acclaimed actress-turned-director, a couple of musicals, one big, old-fashioned biblical epic, and what's easily the most controversial movie of the year. Any movie fan worth their salt can't get enough of movie trivia, and though the releases of these 12 movies inch ever closer, you probably aren't aware of these facts about said movies, including the rich, decade-spanning history of one major project, planned spin-offs, controversial clashes between cast and producers, casting choices that almost were, the inevitable Hollywood hot-button topic of race, and much, much more.
