12 Upcoming Movie Sequels Nobody Asked For

11. A Haunted House 2

Release Date: April 18th A Haunted House was without question one of the worst films of 2013, savaged by critics for being a meek, dim-witted spoof of horror movies like Paranormal Activity and The Devil Inside. The real kicker? That Marlon Wayans continues to act in garbage like this when Requiem for a Dream proved all those years ago that he can actually act, but apparently doesn't want to. Anyway, the film made almost $60 million at the worldwide box office against a minuscule $2.5 million, making it an excellent success in terms of profit-to-cost ratio. Still, does anyone really want to see a sequel, especially so soon? If even another year had passed, then maybe Wayans and co. might have a few more horror films to milk some "comic" mileage out of, but a year later, what has really changed in the horror landscape that it needs to be spoofed again? The trailer looks horrid, so count on it being one of the worst films of the year.
