14 Actors Who Desperately Need A Hit Movie

3. Katherine Heigl

Katherine Heigl seemed destined to blow up as a box office mega-star following her role in 2007's Knocked Up, but after a few easy follow-up hits with 27 Dresses, The Ugly Truth and Life as We Know It, it all went wrong.

Aside from ensemble film New Year's Eve and the animated Nut Job franchise, Heigl hasn't had a box office hit since 2010, largely attributed to her reputation for being difficult to work with, which has transpired through to audiences apparently finding her "unlikeable".

This probably explains why Heigl has been cast in more psycho b**** roles in recent years, though these have largely either bombed at the box office (Unforgettable) or not even made it to cinemas (Home Sweet Hell).

She'll always have that Grey's Anatomy money, sure, but her two recent TV shows, State of Affairs and Doubt, both ended up cancelled after one season. Ouch.

Apart from The Nut Job 2: Nutty by Nature, she's got nothing else lined up, so it's not looking good.
