15 Actors Who Desperately Need A Hit
6. Jessica Biel
In the early-to-mid 2000s, Jessica Biel appeared in a number of successful films such as The Rules of Attraction, the Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, Cellular and Blade: Trinity.
Then 2005's enormous box office bomb Stealth happened, and hits became much more erratic, typically in ensemble pieces where she wasn't the lead (Valentine's Day, The A-Team).
In fact, her last box office hit was 2011's ensemble romantic comedy New Year's Eve, and she hasn't had a film given a wide theatrical release since 2012's Playing for Keeps (which also bombed).
This is a tough one to solve: Biel's never had a consistent string of box office hits that were conclusively because of her presence, and so without a surprise hit, she may be confined to the VOD dungeon forever more.
