15 Actors You Totally Forgot Were In DC Comic Book Movies

If anyone suggests that DC movies are the lesser of two competitors in the great two horsed comic book movie race, you ought to point out to them that such binary reductions are stupid. You should also point out that the calibre of actors who sign on to DC films - including Oscar winners like Jared Leto, Ben Affleck and Will Smith even after the supposed "decline" - suggests that the brand still has incredible sway among actors.

Over the years, that has clearly always been the case. We've seen major Hollywood players drop into the Nolan universe for cameos as well as theatrical veterans, beloved icons of the industry and huge rising prospects sign on to the franchise. Inevitably, with the huge demand to be cast, there aren't always enough top drawer roles to go around, and there's a surprising number of big names who have slummed it in background and minor roles on DC's slate.

Given how many there've been, it's not hard to see why some of the lesser billed characters might get lost in the shuffle. Considering where some of them are now - or once were - seeing them pop up mostly in the background as Batman or a fellow Justice Leaguer punches out a villain can be as odd as it is exciting.
