Not every film fan is into serious drama all the time, but it's hard to deny that practically everyone loves to laugh, and to that end, it's been a pretty riotous year for comedy in cinema. Movie studios appear to be learning more than ever that even the most stern film needs a dash of levity at some point, even if most of the movies on this list are admittedly "fun" films through and through. So, what made the cut this year? Well, there's a couple of insanely unexpected cameos, creative use of female hygiene products, an actor slyly sending himself up, death, a lovable mascot, an unexpected, subversive finale to a comic book movie... and one of the best mid-film twists to any comedy movie in recent memory.
