15 Intriguing Pieces Of British Film Trivia

11. Kes (1969)

The main actor in Kes, David Bradley, was involved in the training of the three kestrels used during the filming of Kes. When the final scene was shot, Bradley was told by the director that one of his kestrels would be killed for the scene. His look of hatred in the film is real, as it was only after the scene was filmed that he was shown his three kestrels alive and well. The kestrel used in the shot had died of natural causes. 10. Life Of Brian (1979)

The beginning of the film shows a large group of people walking towards the mount, but the shot was entirely accidental! The Tunisian extras just all happened to walk past the camera at the same time, as they were mostly headed home to prepare dinner for their families. The shots of the Sermon on the Mount were of the same extras returning to the set after dinner. Source: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0079470/trivia
