16 Hilarious Amazon Reviews Of 2016’s Biggest Movies

Leave it to Amazon's not at all unhinged customers...

Batman V Superman Amazon
Warner Bros.

Imagine thinking that 2016 was going to be a watershed year for films: when the blockbuster period was going to extend to the start of the year, swiping away the supposed graveyard release window by sheer weight of quality... And that the comic book movies coming out were all going to be stunning successes. You may scoff, but that's precisely what was said at this point last year. By me, among other idiots.

The reality is the year has been a poor one all-told: sure, there have been brief punctuations of brilliance, but it's been a hard slope to manage to enjoy the beautiful, brief views, and it's difficult to really let yourself get very excited for next year. When you've been hurt before, it's tough to open up.

The one good thing about the divisive (and flat-out bad) movie releases is that they encourage the most deranged and delightfully unhinged Amazon reviewers out of the woodwork. And as ever, they deliver the goods on reviews (even when they enjoy the movies in their cross hairs).

Here are the best WTF Amazon reviews of 2016 movies...

16. Deadpool

Suicide Squad Amazon
Fox

Sometimes people on Amazon are just trying to get featured on articles like this. Well played, Sir, today you have made it.

The general consensus among the one star reviewers was that Deadpool was foul-mouthed, outrageous, provocative for the sake of provocation and not what you'd expect from a comic book movie. Yeah, great wasn't it?
