18 Fast And Furious Easter Eggs You Never Noticed

18. Director Rob Cohen Cameos In The First Film

Whilst the majority of the Fast And Furious franchise has been helmed by Justin Lin €“ otherwise best known for his work on the NBC sitcom Community, and is set to direct a bunch of episodes for the second series of HBO crime drama True Detective €“ the first film was actually the work of Rob Cohen, who also got his start in television (Miami Vice) before graduating to feature films. In fact one of his first big hits was another Vin Diesel collaboration, the extreme-sports James Bond knock-off xXx which dumped both director and star for the sequel, which instead starred Ice Cube for some reason. He's been lying low since his first major flop, however, in the form of the sci-fi Top Gun-esque Stealth. Before that, however, you couldn't avoid Rob Cohen's face even if you tried. Especially if you cast an especially eagle eye over that first Fast And The Furious film he was responsible for, where he makes a cameo appearance as the old pizza delivery man who is blocked by the first drag race.
