Since its debut back in 2010, The Walking Dead has only continued to keep rolling as it nears the end of its first decade. What started out as a single show based on Robert Kirkman's comics has expanded into a franchise for AMC that has included a handful of Web series and Fear the Walking Dead, with no signs of slowing down as both another spin-off and a trilogy of films revolving around Rick Grimes are being planned.

Though the franchise's luster has lost its sheen in recent years, there's no denying that - for a long while there - it was a real pop culture juggernaut, with a number of its former stars having gone on to much bigger things, one of which has been that other pop culture behemoth, the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Before, during, and after their time in the universe of The Walking Dead, many actors have turned up in the films and shows of the MCU, some through minor appearances, others in major roles.

Taking into account the whole breadth of AMC's The Walking Dead - the main show, its spin-off, and the various Web series - let's run down the cast and see if you remember when all these faces have turned up in the MCU over the years...

On The Walking Dead: Since the season two finale, Gurira has been portraying the katana-wielding Michonne, a role she'll be returning to for the show's upcoming tenth season for several episodes before departing the series, though she'll likely turn up in the trilogy of Rick Grimes-centric movies.

In The MCU: She made her debut in the franchise last year as the loyal general of Wakanda's Dora Milaje, Okoye, in Black Panther, with two further appearances in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame ahead of what surely is a bright future for the character.
