Studio comedies have put in a surprisingly strong showing this year so far, and honestly, who would've ever expected Blockers to turn out this great?

Far more clever, heartfelt and flat-out entertaining than the marketing ever suggested, this feminist, millennial spin on the typical sex pact movie just might be the best ever rendition of that plot.

John Cena and Ike Barinholtz steal the show in a terrific ensemble comedy that gives near-equal screen time to the kids and adults, while melding the expected gross-out gags with a shockingly poignant message about teenage sexuality and parenting.

And Cena chugs a giant bottle of beer up his butthole, so there's that.
