20 Best & Worst Movies From 2015 Oscar Nominees

20. Steve Carell

Best: Little Miss Sunshine (2006) His performance in Foxcatcher might well have gained him an Oscar nod (who knew removing your eyebrows and adding an impressive schnoz would be enough?), but it is the tender, touching and wounded performance in the ultimate dysfunctional family that is his best. It's subtle, beautiful and haunted and it's quite wonderful that his Proustian scholar is the most normal of the entire family. Worst: The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2013) Putting Jim Carrey in a wig and making him play David Blaine against super-camp, super-unfunny Siegfried And Roy/David Copperfield clones does not a comedy film make.
