20 Easter Eggs In Spider-Man Films You Didn't Notice

20. Michael Papajohn Appears In Both Spider-Man Movie Franchises

You probably don't know the name Michael Papajohn, but there's a good chance that if you're a Spider-Man fan, you'll know his face. In the first Spider-Man, Papajohn plays the thief who Peter allows to escape with the wrestling promoter's winnings, only for the man to later carjack and (apparently) kill Uncle Ben, before he is confronted by Peter and ends up falling to his death out of a window. Of course, a rather awkward ret-con in Spider-Man 3 reveals that the thief didn't kill Uncle Ben and the real killer was Flint Marko (aka Sandman)... However, Papajohn is the only actor in any of the Spider-Man movies to appear in both Sam Raimi's and Marc Webb's universes, albeit playing different characters. He shows up briefly in The Amazing Spider-Man as Dr. Ratha's (Irrfan Khan) limo driver just as The Lizard launches an assault on the Williamsburg Bridge.
