With 2014 over and done with it's time to hedge your bets on who's going to come out on top at this year's Academy Awards. It's fair to say that the competition is looking good, too, with great films including Birdman, Whiplash and plenty more all vying for the golden statue. Looking forward to new releases in 2015 and it's promising to be a great year for film fans of all shapes and sizes. There are plenty of potentially awesome blockbusters on the way, but for the more serious-minded movie buff more than a few heavyweight directors are also releasing new titles in the months ahead. With releases from Terrence Malick, Wong Kar Wai, Alejandro González Iñárritu, Quentin Tarantino, Martin Scorsese and Wim Wenders to name but a few all lined up for the year, film fans look like they'll be spoilt for choice.
