Film fans count amongst the most obsessive in the world. Your average movie buff will busy themselves with huge libraries of videos/DVDs/Blu-Rays/downloads (delete as applicable to the time period), whilst many will go beyond that with all sorts of expensive hobbies: cosplay, purchasing original props at auction for ridiculous amounts of money, going on holidays to visit the locations used in filming, stalking Matt Damon. That sort of thing. Others go for the somewhat more practical tributes to their favourite screen stories. Somewhat. Definitely less illegal than the stalking, anyway. Across the world there are dozens, if not hundreds, of houses patterned after the architecture and set design of classic Hollywood movies. Strangely, nobody has yet to recreate the temple from the beginning of Raiders Of The Lost Ark in their living room. That giant boulder probably doesn't appeal. Still, there are a dizzyingly diverse (and frankly bizarre) amount of films that have been recreated in real life by architects and stupidly rich people alike.
