shire schwartzman Some people like to say that €œIt is a small world.€ While one can argue the merits of that statement, it certainly seems that those responsible for the films, TV shows, and entertainment that we all love, have Hollywood blue blood running through their very veins. Many of those in Hollywood are related to one another in some capacity. However, the amount of family connections in the industry is quite astounding. I decided to compile a small list of some of those individuals whom I knew right off €œthe top of my head.€ Here is a brief list of 25 celebs that have show business relatives. There are many more, and I€™m sure there are more that I€™m unaware of as well, but my fingers are getting tired so I stopped when the bleeding began. Read on and be enlightened...

25. Paul Thomas Anderson

efeewadasAD The Master and There Will Be Blood Film director Paul Thomas Anderson was born to Ernest €œErnie€ Anderson, a TV personality and radio DJ/announcer. Ernie Anderson was well known for his gig on Shock Theater, a late night horror movie show, where he served as a presenter known as €œGhoulardi.€ During his long career, Ernie also worked as a disc jockey for radio stations in Vermont, New York, and Rhode Island. He also hosted a morning show called €œErnie€™s Place€ and afternoon programs such as Masterpiece Theater and €œLaurel, Ghoulardi, and Hardy.€ Ernie Anderson later moved to LA, where he nabbed spots on the Carol Burnett Show and became the €œvoice€ of the ABC network, where his announcing was heard across the entire United States. PTA clearly had some early show biz influence in his life.
