25 Movie Sequels That Will Kick Ass In 2018

24. Johnny English 3

Sequels 2018
Universal

Did anyone really need a second Johnny English film? The first was surprisingly good, on account of Rowan Atkinson being a comedy legend and the Bond-based observations being gentle and funny, but it didn't really need a follow-up. But then it made $160m from a $40m budget and Reborn was born.

And since that movie also took $160m at the box office, it's got a sequel too, imaginatively called Johnny English 3. So far, so uninspiring, unless you REALLY like the character.

What makes this infinitely better is the fact that David Kerr is directing, having made his name on British comedy series including That Mitchell And Webb Look and - even more excitingly - the brilliant Inside No 9. If he can bring even a little of the comedy successes of those shows, this might be the funniest British film of the year.
