It's always frustrating when scenes from the trailer are missing in the final movie, though it's rare that something as cool-looking as Thing jumping from a helicopter down into a city and causing mayhem is cut from a film. It's well-documented that F4 underwent extensive re-shoots which may have re-shaped much of the final product, but what possible excuse could there be for the movie to ditch something so drastically? It may come from some sequence of the Thing working for the military, but it's not even shown in video footage in the film (and has no relation to the "Ten minutes... maybe less" joke that accompanies it.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
