29 WTF Moments From Spectre

28. That Amazing Opening Shot

Whatever the film's issues may be, it certainly begins in impressive style, arguably peaking with its stellar pre-title sequence. The first four-or-so minutes appear to be one continuous, single-take tracking shot as Bond makes his way through the crowd at Mexico City's Day of the Dead parade with a beautiful young woman. He heads upstairs in an elevator, they both remove their masks, and Bond then heads to the roof where he scopes out a building opposite, containing criminal Marco Sciarra, who just so happens to be Bond's target. It's at this point that the shot finally cuts, and though it's highly likely that the shot was in fact several stitched together with clever CGI, it still looks utterly fantastic and makes for one of the Bond series' most memorable images to date.
