WhatCulture! recently reported on the news that 20th Century Fox were planning to bring Sesame Street to the big screen in a new live-action feature written by Joey Mazzarino and to be directed by Real Steel€™s Shawn Levy. No plot has been revealed at this time so we thought we€™d take a look in our crystal ball at 5 possible story lines (not including WhatCulture! contributor Jeana Cunningham€™s suggestion that Count von Count takes over Countdown!), so Hollywood if you€™re reading this send our royalty check to the usual address. 1. Kermit Almighty

Not everyone out there will remember that Kermit the Frog was also a regular on Sesame Street, usually appearing as a newscaster and keeping us up to date on the latest crazy news from the land of the Muppets. Famous stories have included Pinocchio, the Pied Piper and Rumplestiltskin. In Kermit Almighty, our favourite frog decides that it isn€™t easy being green AND a newscaster and is given the role of €˜God€™ when he questions his role in life once too often. In this film, the part of God is played by Jim Henson, and He decides that He will allow His creation the chance to become the puppet master for once rather than the puppet. In typical Sesame Street fashion, Kermit learns an important life lesson but not before he gives Miss Piggy bigger boobs and teaches The Great Gonzo not to pee indoors.
