5 Justice League Moments We Needed To See (That Didn't Happen)

5. A Saviour Other Than Superman

If ever there was an opportunity for the creators of the DC Extended Universe to prove their franchise is about more than poster child Clark Kent, this was it. But they missed out on their chance to give someone else the spotlight for a change in a major way.

Last warning, if you haven’t seen the film and want to, stop watching this video, because we’re getting into the end-game stuff.

Just like the Great Eagles of Lord of the Rings lore, Superman is essentially a cheat code to submit just about any evil-doer and, for the second film running in which he’s appeared, the win comes almost solely thanks to his return.

That would be all well and good if this were Superman and His Super Friends, but this is the maiden headliner in Justice League lore. LEAGUE. Meaning more than one.

We won’t go into too great a detail about just how the comeback kid of Krypton goes about saving Earth (again), but without him, there wouldn’t be a Justice League 2, and that’s plain boring.
