5 Movies You Didn’t Know Had Hidden Political Commentaries

3000 Politics and the movies have always shared a strange love affair. Whether it be a politically motivated actor or the endless theorizing from both sides of the aisle about which films do and don't align with their particular beliefs. Some films are far easier to decode than others. Some have a blatant political spin whether it be a film like Promised Land or a film like An American Carol. Others can be theorized about by political hacks and self proclaimed film experts (I am both). Films like Die Hard and Dirty Harry are claimed by the right while films like V For Vendetta or Avatar. But, no matter how obvious the politics or particular commentaries on life are, every film has a message or a worldview if only because the creators had one. Besides, even if a film didn't that wouldn't stop incessant writers like myself from churning out pieces like this one. In this piece, we will try to take a look at the less obvious films that may have what could be considered political commentaries. Remember that these are theories. All films are art or attempts at some form of it and have the flexibility to be theorized about by all. Here's five films you might not have known had political commentaries.
