5 Questions We Have About Avengers: Age of Ultron

1. How Will The Comics Influence The Film?

When I saw the logo on Facebook for The Avengers: Age of Ultron, I immediately thought it was fake. Then I read the news and found out it was true and at first, I was really nervous. Age of Ultron was a recent event that Marvel launched, a story that featured Ultron taking over the world and Wolverine and the Invisible Woman going back in time to kill Hank Pym before he created the robot. It backfired badly and everything was set right in the end, except that apparently Wolverine had €œbroken time€ (which will lead to a future event). The story seemed like an odd choice for an Avengers sequel, given that the characters who played major roles in it aren€™t even available for Marvel Studios to use, plus the fact that it was just a very, very bad story. Fortunately, it has been clarified that only the title is being used and the film will have no connection to the Age of Ultron story. So how will the comics factor into this? Whedon is an admitted fanboy, he added in Thanos to The Avengers just because he€™s such a fan of Jim Starlin€™s work on The Avengers comics. Will Hank Pym still create Ultron, or will he be created by another character? And how will the comics influence the depiction? In Ultron€™s first appearance, he masqueraded as the Crimson Cowl and gathered together a group of villains as the Masters of Evil. His next appearance also introduced the Vision and perhaps the best story featuring him was Ultron Unlimited from the 90s, which contained the iconic scene you see above. Speaking of which, let€™s make sure Hemsworth gets to utter that line.
