5 Reasons Robin Should Not Be In The Batman Vs. Superman Movie

Batman And Robin Since the wonderful (but somewhat hasty) announcement of the 2015 Batman Vs. Superman movie at Comic-Con back in July, all kinds of rumours have been doing the rounds, most of which have been speculating on potential storylines, potential actors who might be appearing in it, and potential characters who might turn up unexpectedly. It's safe to say the internet has gone pretty crazy over the news, in fact - even more so thanks to an incredible bombshell that was dropped last month, in which Warner Bros. revealed that Ben Affleck had been cast as Batman. With the second lead now set in stone (Affleck will appear alongside Henry Cavill, who will reprise his role as Superman/Clark Kent from Zack Snyder's recent Man of Steel), another character who keeps getting mentioned as someone who could appear in the movie is Batman's sidekick: the Boy Wonder, Robin. Rumours of Robin's inclusion, and who might get cast to play him (Matt Damon is too old incidentally, end of story), have been rife but, while he's obviously a classic character, I'm of the opinion that including him in this movie would be an incredibly bad idea.
