explosion Riddle me this: what is the one thing a lot of Westerns lack? More John Wayne? Probably. More prostitutes actually doing their job? Perhaps. What about better special effects? You know: more explosions, grittier towns, legit actors...that€™s what a big budget can get you €“ except John Wayne (RIP Duke). We€™ve gotten a taste of what lots of money and modern technology can do for westerns, as seen recently in films like Unforgiven and The Quick and the Dead. Now, toss a bit of sci-fi into it, and you€™ve got yourself one entertaining film. Props to the producers for pushing some real money into a movie like this, because bigger can be better when it comes to these kinds of movies. Just compare the two Terminator movies, for instance. The Terminator had good technology for its time, and along with an interesting story and Arnie being Arnie, it led to an overall awesome movie. But T2 took all these elements and multiplied them by five, making an even more amazing film.
