One of the more confusing components of 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine was the way in which Sabretooth was written into Wolverine's origin story. In the comics, Sabretooth has no relation to Wolverine they are former colleagues and rivals. Aside from that, Sabretooth was included in 2000's X-Men as part of the Brotherhood of Mutants. Here it seemed that he was meeting Logan for the first time, so his inclusion in Origins (and being played by a different actor) made little sense. This plot hole needs to be addressed in a sequel to The Wolverine. It can be as simple as Logan encountering Victor and the audience learning that Sabretooth also experienced some form of amnesia.
